Metropolitan Hospital has a model and fully equipped Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, staffed by experienced, highly specialized, and well-trained medical and nursing personnel.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery offers:

Director: Dr. Georgios Lagogiannis, Head of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Lagogiannis holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Patras. He completed specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellowship in Head and Neck Tumor Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery at the University Clinic, Medical School of Vienna (Austria), where he also served as Consultant. He has authored and co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and has been a presenter and invited speaker at more than 40 international conferences. His clinical expertise includes head and neck oncology, microvascular free flap reconstruction, craniofacial trauma, and complex reconstructive surgery.
