Director: Dr. Dionysios Chissas, Orthopedic Surgeon, Department of Robotic Orthopedic Surgery

Dr. Chissas is the Director of Robotic Orthopedic Surgery at Metropolitan Hospital and a certified Mako robotic surgeon with extensive international training in Germany and the UK.

He is one of the pioneers of robotic orthopedic surgery in Greece, having performed the highest number of robotic-assisted hip and knee procedures in the country and among the largest globally, while also serving as Head of the SEGAS Sports Medicine Center and physician for the Greek Olympic teams in London 2012 and Rio 2016.
