Dr. Sarantos Konstantinos, Orthopedic Surgeon, Director 7th Orthopaedic Department

Dr. Sarantos completed fellowship training in the United Kingdom with a focus on hip and knee reconstructive surgery, including Robotic and Primary Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Revision Arthroplasty, Periprosthetic Joint Infection, and Complex Reconstructive Cases.

He is a certified international instructor and surgeon in the use of the Mako Robotic-Assisted System for Total Hip Arthroplasty, Total Knee Arthroplasty, and Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty across Europe. He has trained more than 300 Orthopaedic Surgeons across Europe and Asia in more than 25 international courses and LSO’s.

Dr. Sarantos also underwent advanced training in the minimally invasive SuperPath hip approach in the United States, under the supervision of Dr. Jimmy Chow, the originator of the technique. In 2014, he performed the first SuperPath Total Hip Arthroplasty in Europe and the United Kingdom. Since then, he has performed a substantial number of procedures, actively contributing to its refinement, dissemination, and adaptation to European surgical standards.

He served as  an international instructor for the SuperPath technique in Europe and has conducted over 20 international training courses, educating more than 200 orthopaedic surgeons from Europe (Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia, the Scandinavian countries, etc.), as well as from Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

He is combining Minimal Invasive Techniques with Robotic assisted Hip and Knee Replacements and Fast track Recovery Protocols.
