Dr. Zoumpoulis Panagiotis performing more than 300 surgical interventions per year for the last 25 years, is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedics and an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. He received his MD from the Medical School of the University of Athens and completed his Orthopedic Residency and PhD at the Medical School of the University of Patras.

He undertook spine surgery subspecialty training at the University of Heidelberg, the University of St Gallen, the University Clinic of St Anna/Herne, and the University Clinic of Ghent. He has authored 60 peer-reviewed Medline publications and has contributed to more than 400 international and domestic symposia and hands-on seminars.

 

Director: Dr. Skriviliotakis Spiros, Orthopedic Specialist

Dr. Spiros Skriviliotakis graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his specialty training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialized expertise in Spine Surgery, which he developed through advanced fellowship training at the University Hospital of Berlin, under a scholarship from the Greek National Health System. Following this, he was appointed Head of the Spine Unit at the University Hospital of Patras.He holds a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Patras, based on clinical and experimental research on the Gamma Nail. His continuous professional development includes advanced clinical training at the University Orthopaedic Clinic of Homburg in Germany, focusing on total hip arthroplasty, as well as specialized spine surgery training at the Spine Center of Karlsruhe under Professor Harms and at the Spine Center of Institut Calot in France under Dr. D. Chopin.Dr. Skriviliotakis is among the first orthopaedic surgeons in Greece to be certified in kyphoplasty. He has also obtained hands-on certification in minimally invasive endoscopic and arthroscopic techniques for the surgical treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. He has served as President of the Spine Section of the Hellenic Orthopaedic Society and is a founding member of the Hellenic Spine Society.
